Following the success of the Summer School earlier this year, Trudy and Anita are holding a new three-day course this Christmas. Join them for another inspiring jazz singing course. The 3-day course runs 28th – 30th December 2017 and is held in association with the London Centre of Contemporary Music.
What’s happening
The first two days will consist of classes in which we cover vocal technique and warm-ups, as well as more jazzy exercises based on feel and groove.
Then we will split into two groups and study particular material that we’ll send out in due course, looking at phrasing, improvisation and solo building, incorporating technique to facilitate these ideas. Each group will swap to make sure the participants study with both Trudy Kerr and Anita Wardell.
On day three, we will be working with a rhythm section, and the participants will choose their own material to work on. Trudy and Anita will be there to lead the session. In the evening there will be a concert where each participant will perform to an audience.

Fees
£255 for the full 3-day course
You can secure your place in either of two ways:
- Pay the full fees right away. If you cancel by 12th December we will refund you the fees, less an administration charge of £25. If you cancel after 12th December, no refund will be given.
- Pay a non-refundable deposit of £50. You must pay the remainder of £205 no later than 12th December.
